A short walkthrough for installing the FiveM client and getting ready to join a server.
Last updated:
Before you start
FiveM needs a legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto V installed on your PC, from Steam, Epic Games or the Rockstar Games Launcher. Make sure the game launches normally first.
Run the installer. FiveM looks for your GTA V installation and asks you to point it to the game folder if it cannot find it.
Let FiveM finish downloading and caching its files the first time you launch it.
Connecting to a server
Once FiveM is running you can find servers in its built-in server list, or connect to a specific server using its join details. For Homebase Roleplay, get access details and the rules in the Discord.
Having trouble?
Check that GTA V runs on its own and that your game is up to date, then ask for help in our Discord. Read the full how to join guide for Homebase.
